Borchard Road Mainline Project

California American Water

WSC provided engineering design services for California American Water’s (CAW) Ventura County District Borchard Road Mainline Project.  CAW connected an existing Academy Mutual Water Company turnout (Academy turnout) to the transmission grid at the intersection of Michael Drive and Borchard Road in the City of Thousand Oaks.

The Project included the installation of approximately 300 feet of 8-inch PVC mainline from the existing Academy turnout, owned by the Calleguas Municipal Water District (CMWD), on Borchard Road to an existing 8-inch PVC mainline on Michael Drive.  This project increased the water supply reliability for CAW by adding redundancy to their system.
