Erik Cadaret

Mr. Cadaret is a hydrogeologist who writes and edit proposals, creates report graphics and maps, performs field work and a variety of analyses, and works on a variety of SGMA related tasks. He also assists managing projects and provides innovative solutions to WSC clients and colleagues by leveraging knowledge of and accessibility to readily available technology. Most of his undergraduate studies involved working part-time for an environmental consulting firm as a field technician in southern California. After earning his master’s degree, Erik worked for two years primarily as a field hydrogeologist. In the that position, he worked on a wide variety of environmental, mining, and water resources projects in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and California.

Personal Brief

I am passionate about sustainable water resource management, identifying and implementing innovative solutions by leveraging technology, and engaging in water education. I am driven to help the water resource industry achieve sustainability goals and assist our clients implement the best solutions available. I am inspired by the people I work with and the issues that WSC is helping to solve. I am also intrinsically inspired to help people around the globe sustainably manage their water resources for generations to come. Being able to work for WSC, a company that brings exceptional value and high-quality solutions to their clients, is rewarding and motivates me to be the best version of myself. I enjoy spending time with my niece and nephews, family, and friends. I also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including beach volleyball, surfing, hiking, camping, and snowboarding.  If I’m not outside, I am reading and learning something new.
