Personal Brief

I knew I wanted to be a designer after participating in yearbook design throughout high school. I went on to get my degree in Graphic Communication at Cal Poly SLO and received the best education I could have possibly imagined. My emphasis was in Design Reproduction Technology and Package Design, and I used my minor in Spanish to incorporate international business relations into my studies as well. I also worked for a non-profit organization focused on water and energy conservation for two years while attending school. After graduating, I left California and moved to Spain where I worked as an English teacher and free-lance designer, aiming for Spanish fluency. Upon returning to the US, I did marketing and design in multiple sectors including the coffee industry, the wine industry, and the firearms industry before I chose to be a part of WSC.

I joined the WSC family because I saw the opportunity to be a part of a firm that is comprised of next generation thinkers. I feel blessed to work in an environment where my assets and talents are cultivated and utilized for maximum success. I believe in the WSC team and I know that we can do amazing things together.

When I’m not working, I love to opt outside—Hiking, backpacking, and traveling are huge passions of mine. I love getting to experience something that is brand new to me whether that is a language, a culture, a food, a place, or an activity. I also really love people. I love getting to hear peoples’ stories, and I truly believe each person has their own unique purpose, beauty, and strengths.
