Personal Brief

Growing up in Florida surrounded by water and engaged in year-round water activities, I developed an appreciation for water at a young age. I realized early on that water is an important and precious resource. During my academic career, I began to make connections between wastewater and water resources and developed an appreciation for the value that this field can provide. I find it rewarding to help provide clean water and healthy sanitation that improves the quality of our environments. I am intrigued about the ways we can enhance our wastewater treatment systems to include nutrient recycling, water reuse, and other solutions that allow our systems to provide the greatest benefit to our communities, as well as natural resources. I enjoy the variety and challenges that come with engineering and being part of a hard-working, knowledgeable, and resourceful team. I am excited to continue learning through experience and contribute my own skillset to the WSC team.

In my personal life, I love being outside and on the water. I enjoy hiking with my dog, exploring new places, surfing, and snowboarding.
