She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, social media, crisis management, internal communications, and community engagement. Amy has a background in translating technical research and jargon-heavy educational speak to content that can be understood by the public. She understands how to develop engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences, from social media, presentations, FAQs, and infographics, to internal communications that create organizational support and help her clients reach their goals. She brings proven success in pitching the media to help clients connect with journalists who can help more broadly share their stories and communicate vital information to large segments of targeted audiences.
Amy is an experienced and adept large-group facilitator, helping diverse groups achieve alignment around critical decisions. Amy has led in-person and virtual focus groups, taught advocacy courses, and hosted large press conferences to support initiatives, address organizational crises, or drive decision-making at critical milestones.
As a Southern California native, Amy has been familiar with the devastating effects of droughts since a young age. She is passionate about finding sustainable solutions to water management, pollution, and allocation, and using her strategic communication skills to support clients as they help shape the future for all living creatures that depend on water.
I live with my husband and five-year-old in Orange County. Most of our current adventures are driven by my son’s interests, which currently include trains, race cars, parks, and finding delicious breakfast options.
