Erik is a professional hydrogeologist with technical, field and management experience in a variety of water resources management projects.

Erik’s work at WSC includes project management and technical tasks related to water resources management, SGMA, Prop 1 Groundwater Grant Programs, field supervision of well projects, geologic and hydrogeologic data interpretation, surface water modeling and water quality evaluations. His professional background includes a mix of field, technical and assistant management roles related to the environmental and water resources sector of the water industry. He provides innovative solutions to WSC clients and colleagues by leveraging knowledge of and accessibility to readily available technology. Outside of work at WSC, he sits on the Board of Directors as a Board Member of the Groundwater Resources Association of California, where he regularly works with a wide variety of leaders in the water industry to engage GRA’s membership to help achieve sustainable groundwater for all.

On a personal note

I am passionate about sustainable water resource management, and identifying and implementing innovative solutions by leveraging technology and engaging in water education. I am driven to help the water resource industry achieve sustainability goals and assist our clients in implementing the best solutions available. I am inspired by the people I work with and the issues that WSC is helping to solve. I am also intrinsically inspired to help people around the globe sustainably manage their water resources for generations to come. Being able to work for WSC, a company that brings exceptional value and high-quality solutions to their clients, is rewarding and motivates me to be the best version of myself. I enjoy spending time with my niece and nephews, family and friends. I also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including beach volleyball, surfing, hiking, camping and snowboarding. If I’m not outside, I am reading and learning something new.
