Holly is a strategic communications, education and outreach leader with 24 years of water industry experience.

Holly focuses on development of strategic plans and communications that educate, align, promote and achieve envisioned results for community and client goals. Understanding that effective outreach and communication is critical in achieving water and wastewater system goals, she partners with clients to help align a wide array of stakeholder perspectives to achieve holistic, multi-stakeholder or regionally based solutions.

In support of our technical leaders, project teams and clients, Holly provides visual and written communications, workshop facilitation, strategic planning and outreach support. She is trained in visual storytelling or storyboarding, presentation development and delivery, as well as communications training and coaching. She is an active member of leading industry associations, and brings an in-depth appreciation and knowledge for the challenges our clients face. This passion translates to clear, concise and impactful communications that advance One Water solutions.

She has been an active participant and leader in: WateReuse, Chair of the Oregon ACWA Education Committee, and volunteer with the Pacific Northwest Association of Clean Water Agencies.

On a personal note

My academic background is in journalism, and I am drawn to understanding the heart of a story from varying perspectives. The more angles and complexities to the story, the better. This drew me to the water industry, which greatly depends on effective communications to gain support for funding, innovation, collaboration and advancement of water solutions.

Outside of work, I enjoy most outdoor activities including standup paddle boarding, camping, hiking, and more. I grew up in the South (Texas and Louisiana) and especially love flavorful dishes and exploring new recipes. I enjoy reading and journaling and love historical, religion and leadership-focused books and podcasts.

With two active boys and a Weimaraner, my husband and I enjoy discovering new PNW locations and places to exert all the active energy that comes with raising teen boys.
