Lizzie joined WSC in early 2021. She holds a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University. In her client work, she draws from her growing experience in water reuse to assist in the design of water and wastewater treatment plants including water reuse systems, as well as the preparation of Urban Water Management Plans, Integrated Regional Water Management Plans, and Risk and Resilience Assessments. She also supports construction services for various types of projects. She draws inspiration from advancements in water treatment innovation and the idea that everyone can have access to reliable, clean water without harming the environment.
In my free time, I enjoy skiing, swimming, playing water polo and going on walks with my dog to the beach. I have skied so many mountains—it is hard to pick a favorite because I have so many different and fun memories at each place. However, some of the best powder I have skied was at Mount Bachelor in Oregon and Winter Park and Steamboat in Colorado. I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 7 and played water polo in college and just love being in the water in general.
