Stephanie Ard

OFF THE CLOCK
She has worked with large and small municipalities on a variety of planning and design projects. Stephanie began her career working for a small consulting firm in the Sacramento area where she worked on several water main replacement projects. Later, she worked in Seattle on linear water and sewer projects, pump stations, well rehabilitation, disinfection stations, hydraulic modeling, and master planning. Most recently, Stephanie focused on hydraulic modeling and master planning for water districts in the Puget Sound.
Stephanie credits her work on master planning with helping her understand that each client and community have unique cultures that need to be considered to complete a successful project. She is committed to developing close relationships with WSC’s clients to understand their needs and execute a meaningful solution.
Outside of work, I spend most of time laughing and playing with my three young kids. I love creating new adventures to share with them. I’m constantly planning either a new art project to do with them (that will probably end up with paint and glitter all over) or looking into a hike that I think they just might enjoy (if I pack enough M&Ms). During the rare moments where I find I have some time to myself, I like to go for a run, do some yoga, or attempt a watercolor.
